Welcome to the Cultural Council of Indian River County.

Founded in 1995, the Cultural Council of Indian River County is a 501c3 non-profit, membership-based organization serving over 140,000 residents and 600,000 visitors as the County’s Designated Arts Agency. It is their mission to promote visual, literary, and performing arts through education, collaboration, marketing and advocacy to enrich the lives of residents and visitors.

Art in Public Places is our way of connecting artists to the community. Residents and visitors can enjoy fine art exhibits in the IRC Courthouse, Vero Beach Regional Airport, IRC Intergenerational Recreation Center, and IRC Administration Buildings. Plan a day, a weekend, or a month with our Arts & Cultural Guide. This much anticipated and appreciated guide is a resource for all fine arts, literary, children’s, music, and performing arts events programming from October 2020 through September 2021.

The Guide is organized into six categories: Theater and Dance; Concerts, Opera, Orchestra and Symphony; Fine Art, Galleries and Museums; Speaker Series, Lectures, Literary and Film; Community Events and Festivals; and Children’s Activities. Events are easily found either by day-to-day calendar listing or by category and member organization.
