We are a tourism destination! Share photos that showcase the beauty, relaxation, and adventure of Indian River County to inspire travel! In other words, submit what makes you happy!
Tell us the story. Including the specific location or a fun caption helps us celebrate your work.
Beyond prizes, your photos may be featured in our official Destination Guide or on our social media, reaching tens of thousands of Florida lovers.
The Official Rules
These contests are for hobbyists. If photography is your primary source of income, you are considered a professional and are ineligible unless stated otherwise by specific contests.
Keep it local: Only photos taken within Indian River County (Vero Beach, Sebastian, or Fellsmere) will be considered.
Original work: You must be the sole creator and copyright holder. No “stolen” photos or shots taken by a professional you hired.
No Watermarks: Photos with watermarks or signitures will be disqualified. We want the focus to remain on the scenery.
Family Friendly: Content must be suitable for all ages. No violent, suggestive, or political imagery.
Technical Integrity: No collages or over-processed/heavy-HDR edits.
Residency: You must have a physical mailing address within the United States to receive prizes.
Judging & Logistics
Frequency: Winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd) are selected 15 days after contest expires.
The 20-photo Rule: A minimum of 20 entries is required to judge a quarter. If we haven’t reached 20, the contest stays open until we do!
Timeline: Judging occurs within 15 days of the contest closing.
The Fine Print: By entering, you grant Visit Indian River County permission to use your images for marketing and promotional purposes (digital, print, and social media) with appropriate credit given. Make sure to share your social media handles so we can tag you if we choose to share!
Indian River County Photo Contest
Each Quarter we have a photo contest allowing contestants to win prizes for the top three photos. We will award Two pontoon tickets at the Environmental Learning Center *valid through September 2026 to first place, a bundle of Visit Indian River County Merch to second place, and a $50 gift card to Riverside Cafe to third place!
