New Restaurants in Indian River County – June 2026
New Restaurants in Indian River County – June 2026 – If you haven’t explored Indian River County’s newest dining destinations lately, now is a great time to start. Over the past six months, the local food scene has welcomed several exciting additions, including a new destination that brings together award-winning barbecue and craft beer under one roof, a traditional Italian market, a cozy breakfast and lunch spot, and familiar local favorites beginning new chapters under fresh ownership and concepts. Whether you’re looking for your next go-to restaurant or simply enjoy discovering what’s new, these five establishments are worth adding to your list.
Hogan Yards – Vero Beach, FL
Hogan Yards is one of Vero Beach’s newest gathering destinations, bringing together locally brewed craft beer from Orchid Island Brewery and authentic Central Texas-style barbecue from Pepper & Salt BBQ under one roof. Housed inside a restored citrus packing house, the venue blends historic Florida charm with modern amenities, including pickleball courts, live entertainment, outdoor gathering spaces, and plenty of room to relax with friends and family. Whether you’re stopping in for smoked brisket, a locally crafted beer, or an afternoon of fun, Hogan Yards offers a uniquely local experience in the heart of Vero Beach.

Liberty Pizza and Steaks – Vero Beach, FL
Liberty Pizza and Steaks marks a new chapter for the former Giorgio’s New York Pizzeria, which was recently purchased by Philadelphia native John Strain. Working alongside his mother, a longtime Vero Beach resident who helps oversee the business, Strain has refreshed the interior and has plans to update the exterior and add a deck for additional outdoor seating. Fans of Giorgio’s can rest easy knowing the pizza recipes aren’t changing, the same staff remains in place making the pies, and the popular Giorgio’s Special pizza will continue as a tribute to the restaurant’s history. The biggest addition is an authentic Philadelphia-style cheesesteak made with chopped ribeye, grilled onions, and Cooper Sharp cheese on a seeded roll. In my opinion, it’s one of the best cheesesteaks on the Treasure Coast and worth the visit all by itself. Combined with the familiar pizzas that locals have enjoyed for years, Liberty Pizza and Steaks successfully blends the best of both worlds.

Nonna Lina’s Italian Market, Deli & Bakery – Vero Beach, FL
Nonna Lina’s Italian Market brings a taste of old-world Italy to Vero Beach through a carefully curated selection of imported meats, cheeses, pastas, specialty products, and made-to-order sandwiches. Owner Johnny I., a longtime New York businessman with Italian roots, opened the market to recreate the authentic flavors and traditions he grew up with and struggled to find after moving to Florida. Named in honor of his grandmother, who taught him how to cook and inspired his love of Italian food, Nonna Lina’s has quickly developed a loyal following. According to Johnny, customers visit for two reasons: the impressive sandwiches, like the towering Vero Italian, and the chance to spend a little time with Johnny himself when they’re craving a taste of Brooklyn in Vero Beach.

Sunny’s Cafe is a charming breakfast and lunch spot opened by New York native Sunny, who relocated to Vero Beach to pursue her longtime dream of owning a café. Drawing inspiration from the neighborhood coffee shops and bakeries she worked in for more than a decade, Sunny’s offers a mix of New York-style breakfast favorites, specialty coffee drinks, and house-made syrups in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Beyond the food and coffee, the café was designed to serve as a community gathering place where guests can relax, connect, and feel at home. Pet-friendly and supportive of local artists and makers, Sunny’s Cafe has quickly become a colorful addition to the Vero Beach dining scene.

Named after their beloved French Bulldog, Willee’s brings a taste of Pittsburgh to Vero Beach with thin, crispy pizzas made using techniques and flavors inspired by Mike’s years in the pizza business back home. Beyond the food, the restaurant reflects the couple’s passion for quality ingredients, hospitality, and creating a welcoming neighborhood gathering place. With pet-friendly outdoor seating, Pittsburgh sports on the televisions, and a menu filled with pizzas, salads, wings, and more, Willee’s Pizza offers a casual and inviting spot for both locals and visitors alike.
