4 Resort Hotels to Check Out for Your Next Vacation

There are plenty of options for vacationers looking to treat themselves for some fun in the Florida sun, but one of the increasingly popular options are hotels near Vero Beach FL in Indian River County. As the Official Visitors Bureau for Indian River County Tourism Development, it’s our job to raise awareness and inform the general public at-large of all the wonderful and amazing opportunities our community has to offer. One of the first things you’ll have to decide is which resort hotel/lodging facilities to stay at.

There are a plethora of resort hotels in the Indian River County area to choose from, but to help you avoid feeling overwhelmed, here are a few great options you might want to consider.

  1. Caribbean Court Vero Beach Hotel: Decorated with antique furniture, hand-painted tiles, and original artwork, these quaint double occupancy studio-style types of lodging offer a variety of benefits, including all the modern and luxury amenities of a resort hotel in a more boutique setting. Complete with beach access, the Caribbean Court is a local go-to.

  1. Costa d’ Este Beach Resort and Spa: For those looking for exceptional pampering, the Costa d’ Esta might be the choice for you. This hotel resort not only comes with miles of oceanfront access, but also the cozy comforts of a traditional spa for a truly luxurious experience.

  1. Driftwood Resort: If you’re looking for a more “old school” feel to your stay, but still want all the modern amenities, the Driftwood Resort might be the place for you. This ocean resort was founded way back in the early 1900s and was actually named to the National Registry of Historic Places in 1994. Inside, many of the old artifacts and findings of the resort’s founder, Waldo Sexton, can be found.

  1. Islander Inn: Families looking for a great price point for their lodging facilities — without sacrificing great quality — might want to check out the Islander Inn. Resort hotels can seem a little out of reach for some people, especially when you consider the global hotel industry was forecasted to generate $550 billion in revenue in 2016. Located a mere 300 feet from Vero’s beach, this hotel offers places to stay at lower prices than most of the other resort hotels in the area.

Florida has over 1,300 miles of coastlines and 663 miles of beaches, and Vero Beach is one of the most unique places to experience them. Over 650 million long-distance summer trips are made in the U.S. each year. Consider one of these, or the many other great options Indian River County has to offer for this summer’s trip.
