Winter is upon us and we in Vero Beach, Fellsmere, and Sebastian have plenty of ways that you can welcome in the new season! We are very happy to announce that many events have returned since the pandemic, and we even have a new annual event that is kicking things off this year! On the first Saturday in December, bring your holiday spirit and family out to an evening of festivities! Come view the beautifully lit floats, take part in the candy cane race, and don’t forget to take the kids to see Santa Clause! Sebastian Brewfest
December 3rd | 2022
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Sebastian, this year’s event is expected to be twice in size in attendance with more breweries, cideries, and possibly some winereies too. Live Music up on the main stage. You’ve been to the Shrimpfest put on by the same group of folks, now experience the Brewfest. ONLY A BREWFEST!!! No children or pets are allowed. Lagoon Lantern Walk
December 9th| 2022
Looking for a holiday event? Mark your calendars for December 9th and join us for the Lagoon Lantern Walk. Create your own mason jar lantern, make s’mores over the bonfire, and take a lantern lit walk among the mangroves. Treasure Coast Girls Coalition will have their food cart serving food starting at 5pm. The City of Vero Beach Recreation Department Antics Youth Circus will perform an excerpt of their Enchanted Christmas Ball from 5:30-6pm. Lantern making and s’mores will start at 6pm! Sebastian Christmas Parade

The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. and start at Main Street and travel south on Indian River Drive, and ends at Riverview Park. Once the parade had concluded, Santa will be waiting for all the kids under the giant lit tree. So make sure to come to get your picture with Santa. For more information, visit their Website.
Magic of McKee Festival of Lights

Relive moments of holidays past as you marvel at McKee’s nostalgic large-scale train display and listen to the sounds of the 1924 Wurlitzer Band Organ. Get in the spirit of McKee’s traditional holidays by visiting with Santa, enjoying outdoor holiday movies, intermittent snow flurries create a traditional holiday spirit in the Garden along with Santa, outdoor holiday movies, performances by local entertainers and special holiday treats from the Garden Café. Thousands of bright, colorful professionally installed lights illuminate the Garden pathways along with lighted holiday displays and festivedecorations. In addition, the Garden will be host holiday-themed crafts from 10 am – 12pm, Tuesday-Friday, December 6-23. Sebastian Riverfront Fine Art & Music Festival
January 21st -22nd | 2023
The Sebastian Fine Arts and Music Festival began in 1999. It features a juried art show and live musical performances under the shade of tall trees along the breathtaking Indian River Lagoon. With over 100 local professional artists, musicians and craftsmen showcasing their talents, the Fine Arts & Music Festival attracts over 20,000 residents and visitors annually. Annual Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival
January 19th – 22nd | 2023
Four days of frog legs, carnival rides, and live entertainment, this volunteer-based event began as a way to raise money for the recreational needs of the children in Fellsmere. A winner of two Guinness Book of World Records for most frogs sold at a festival, the Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival attracts over 80,000 people to the area and has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars back into the community over the last 31 years! There are rides for the young ins’ as well as wild and crazy rides for the more adventurous, and plenty of games to test your skills. There’s free admission, free parking, and free entertainment. Mangroves And Moonlight

Support the Environmental Learning Center when you join us for our annual fundraiser; Mangroves and Moonlight on Saturday, January 28th from 5:00-8:00 PM. 21st Annual Gardenfest
February 4th – 5th | 2023
Gardenfest has over 90 vendors displaying merchandise and selling a wide variety of plants, planters, pottery, fountains, furniture, lighting, statuary, and other garden accessories. Many of the plants for sale include palms, ferns, orchids, bromeliads, Florida natives, herbs, succulents, bamboo, and roses. Hot Air Balloon Festival

La Balooza Hot Air Balloon Festival coming February 3rd & 4th 2023 to the Indian River County Fairgrounds in Vero Beach! The 2023 Golden Fork Awards

The Treasure Coast Foodie is once again lifting the Golden Fork Awards article off the digital pages and into an Awards ceremony and tasting event to be hosted at Walking Tree Brewery in Vero Beach! At the event, we will be honoring the Top 10 Best Dishes, a Chef of the Year, and a Restaurant of the Year! The winners are selected from reviews and dining experiences we’ve had over the previous 12 months. 13th Annual Motor Car Exhibition

One day only! Car enthusiasts will not want to miss this distinguished and highly anticipated exhibition! A family-oriented, fun presentation of motorsport excellence will be on display throughout the Garden featuring 40 of “The Collectors’ Favorite” automobiles from their private collections. The exhibit will showcase a great variety of cars from antique to modern, as well as a display of motorcycles. 11th Annual Florida Craft Brew and Wingfest

Craft Beer Tasting and Best of Vero Wing competition. Homebrewers, Local Brewers and Florida Craft Beers…Draft Trucks for those that don’t do the tasting. 4 bands for entertainment and even a Root Beer contest for the little ones. Annual Grant Seafood Festival
