Southeast Tourism Society Selects Vero Beach Wine + Film Festival as an ‘STS Top 20 Event’

ATLANTA, Ga. (December 20, 2019) – Southeast Tourism Society has named Vero Beach Wine + Film Festival one of the STS Top 20 Events in the Southeast for June 2020.

This year’s Vero Beach Wine + Film Festival is June 11th – 14th, 2020. The STS Top 20 Festival and Event Awards have highlighted programs around the Southeast since 1985.

Travel industry experts select 20 events per month, and STS publicizes them throughout the United States. The complete list is published on two websites: Southeast Tourism Society and Travel Media Press Room.

Sun! Surf! Screenings! Celebrate compelling and engaging cinema at the 5th Annual Vero Beach Wine + Film Festival!  The “Top 100″ rated film festival is held Thursday, June 11- Sunday, June 14, 2020. Being the largest screening of an independent film on the Treasure Coast you can view more than 100 independent films, including Academy-Award winners, Sundance hits and world premieres at the fest named “The Summer Sundance” by HuffPost.  The VBWFF rolls out the red carpet for visiting filmmakers and winemakers from numerous countries connecting artists with their audiences at the most illustrious venues in Vero Beach. Sip, swirl and savor 100+ fine wines from around the globe at signature events including the Devour! Chefs & Shorts Feast, Vino Veritas Vintner Dinner, and the WOW! World of Wine Grand Tasting.  Come drink it all in at the first and only wine and film festival in the State of Florida!  Past honorees of the ” VBWFF Life Worth Living Legend Award” include actor, author and activist George Takei, box office film star Burt Reynolds and singer, philanthropist and entrepreneur Gloria Estefan. Honorary Festival Chair Jeffrey Lyons, 5-time Emmy award-winning critic, and Peabody award-winning Director Jeff Woolnough have been past VBWFF film jurors. Sip! See! Savor the Experience! Events considered for the STS Top 20 recognition must be at least three years old and have attendance of at least 1,000.   The online nomination link and submission deadlines are available at SoutheastTourism.org or by calling 770-542-1523.
