This 248-acre refuge spans 20.5 miles and is designated to protect the habitat for what is the most significant area for loggerhead sea turtle nesting in the Western Hemisphere, and the most significant area for green turtle nesting in North America. Nesting tours are offered in June and July only. Reservations are required.
